Mr. Trinh Xuan Giang

Speaker (METAWATER Co.,Ltd.)

After graduating from high school in 2007, I decided to study Japanese. After 1 year, I was granted    a chance to become a student on scholarship by courtesy of The Asahi Shimbun and then, came to Japan. In 2011, I was enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Mie University, the national university located in Mie Prefecture, and devoted my attention to the research of laser beam butt-welding method using different kind of materials and I could deepen my knowledge of Japanese technologies. Then, after graduation from the university, I decided to go back to Vietnam in 2015 with the intention of making good use of the knowledge which I acquired in Japan.

Then, I realized that water environment in Vietnam hadn’t been improved to date, unlike Japan where you can see beautiful and clean rivers around. That was the reason why I applied for  METAWATER’s representative office in Hanoi because I thought that I could contribute to improve water environment at METAWATER. Since then, I had been involved in the wastewater treatment project in Hoi An City under the grant arrangement by the Government of Japan and assumed various functions and responsibilities to complete the project successfully. I would be more than happy if I could play a lot more roles of improving the water environment of my country.

Topic: The Pre-treated Trickling Filter (“PTF”)
